91life — Digital health platform
Patient-facing web app for scheduling, records, and asynchronous care. Shipped a cohesive design system and rebuilt core flows for speed and accessibility.
91life is a digital health company building the connective tissue between patients, clinicians, and care plans. I work across the stack — from schema and API design to frontend architecture and pixel-level polish.
Growing product surface meant inconsistent UI, slow onboarding, and accessibility gaps. Needed a shared foundation engineers could move quickly on without drifting.
Stood up a lightweight design system on top of Radix primitives and Tailwind tokens. Rebuilt critical flows with server components and progressive enhancement. Added a11y audits and performance budgets to the CI pipeline.
- Shared design tokens and component library adopted across 4 surfaces
- Core routes rebuilt with RSC + streaming
- Accessibility audits built into CI
Onboarding time for new engineers dropped noticeably; Lighthouse scores moved into the high 90s on core routes; patient flows became measurably faster and more legible.
